Sample Testimonials From a
CLA Class*:
“Highly recommend this course to all REALTORS,
everyone needs to take this program”
“This course does for the
Listing Agent what CBR does for the
Buyer's Agent. It prepares the
agents to work effectively with your
clients. I think all REALTORS should take this
program so they can put into
words and actions
just "what it is" that a full
service agent does for the seller.
Qualifying for the CLA can raise the bar in our perception to the general public”.
“Very good course, I would recommend all REALTORS to take it!”
“After four years in the business, I realized during this course that I have not been serving my sellers as I should. All agents should take this course.”
“This course/designation should be required for all listing agents!”

Purpose of the
CLA Designation
In recent years, the educational arm of the real estate industry has placed great emphasis on effective buyer representation in brokerage transactions. While this has been an extremely positive change in our industry, very little academic emphasis has been placed on enhancing the skill set needed to effectively meet the demands of today’s seller. The
CLA course will focus on enhancing
the professional skills needed to
deliver “value added” service and
give today’s seller the next step of
"Excellence in Service".
The
CLA Designation
The CLA designation will be awarded upon the successful completion of the twelve (12) hour in-class
CLA course and submission of five (5) favorable recommendations from former seller clients whom the candidate represented.
THE CLA is designed to bestow on
the Listing Agent a mark of
professionalism that will set the
CLA designee apart from their
competition. The Client provided
Sales Recommendations are
fundamental to the demonstration of
a mastery of these skills. The CLA designation
will be deemed to have been earned
with the course completion and
verification by the registry. The
designee will receive a certificate
suitable for framing; a CLA lapel pin;
entry of their name into the CLA
registry for a two (2) year membership
and a two-year license to use the
CLA logo.
The initial two (2)
year CLA membership/license may be
renewed by submitting two (2)
additional testimonials of
"Excellence in Service" received
during the preceding two years.
